David Rodriguez

It's very early in the season but Atletico Ottawa are off to a fast start in the Canadian premier league & one of the main reasons why is because of David Rodriguez. An exciting prospect from the United States, Rodriguez has been lighting up the league in his early days. I've been very impressed with his dribbling & close control. In Ottawa's 3 games so far he has created 6 big chances while providing 3 goals & 2 assists. He has been put out wide for parts of the early season but he is very effective in the center of the park with the ability to go by players & then the intelligence to pick out a pass or go to goal himself. If you're looking for a speedy winger that's not his game & taking players 1v 1 on the outside may be something he needs to work on, but to get the most out of him he needs to be in the center. He is one to keep an eye out on as the Canadian premier league season develops.
